Behavior Technician

  • Behavior Technician (BT) is to provide home ABA services to clients. The BT will also monitor the progress of a treatment plan and work closely with the BCBA to update the treatment plan as necessary.

  • Remote

    • Conduct direct ABA therapy services to a variety of clients between the ages of 2-12 in the homes of the clients.

    • Collaborate and seek guidance from case supervisors, assigned BCBA, and Lead BCBA to ensure best practice with implementation of services

    • Implement behavior support plans as provided by your Case Supervisor and/or BCBA

    • Maintain accurate and timely records of client’s performance via data collection and clinical notes.

    • Provide parent education as directed by your Case Supervisor and BCBA

    • Engage in excellent communication skills with your Case Supervisor and BCBA in regard to your assigned caseloads

    • Open to feedback from the Case Supervisor, Lead BCBA, assigned BCBA and Clinical Director to support your growth within the company

    • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CLIENT WITH AUTISM.

    • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FROM 2:00 PM TO 8:00 PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY.

    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis treatment to children with Autism is preferred.

    • Current knowledge of treatment practices and a drive to continually learn about and explore new treatment practices that may benefit our clients

    • Must have a strong ability to work with a wide array of patients (age, race, ethnicity, etc.)

    • Able to be highly flexible and agile (we are living and working in a very dynamic time right now)

    • Able to be highly collaborative, team-oriented and customer service driven

    • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between homes in the San Bernardino region.

    • Must have a valid Driver’s license in good standing.

    • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Psychology, Child Development, Education or related field (A.A. or High School Diploma will be considered for applicants with experience in Applied Behavior Analysis)

  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time; use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with repetitive motion; lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds; pushing, pulling and bending at the neck, waist and knees; reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally; wrist twisting; kneeling.
