A fast growing, multi-specialty medical practice in the Palm Springs area is looking for an accounting professional with GAAP accounting knowledge and familiar with healthcare industry and process control. The position has a lot of growth potential and the ideal candidate can make immediate impact and grow with the company.

90% Remote

10% In Office

· Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

· Perform month end closing process in accrual accounting, reconcile subledgers and balance sheet accounts

· Assist with financial audit preparation

· Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures

· Maintain control over supplies ordering process and employee expense reimbursements

· Cross function to perform accounts payable processing, recording, and filing

· Assist in financial analytics and any ad hoc projects

· Intermediate to advanced skill in Excels

· Strong business writing; excellent written and verbal communication abilities

· Proficient in accounting systems (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.)

· Detail oriented, deadline driven, strong organizational skills, able to perform in fast paced environment

· Ability to work cooperatively and to collaborate with all levels of employees and management to maximize performance, creativity, and problem solving
